6. Free tools

Our free tools (Split Bill, calculators, QR code generator, image tools and PDF tools) run in your browser. Photos, PDF files, bills and numbers you enter are processed on your device and are not uploaded by those tools. The GST Invoice Utility also generates PDFs locally: invoice line items, seller or buyer details, and generated PDFs are never uploaded.

To save you retyping, some tools remember your last entries in your browser's local storage, on your device only. Some tools cache their files in your browser so they work offline. You can clear this any time with the 'Clear saved data' link on each tool, or by clearing your browser's site data.

Split Bill share links contain the bill details (names, amounts, UPI IDs) inside the link itself. Only people you share it with can see them; we do not receive or store them.

GST Invoice Utility accounts

GST Invoice Utility accounts are optional. Guests keep invoice drafts, clients, branding, logos and numbering in browser storage; invoice line items and PDFs are not uploaded. Guest generation is limited to 4 PDFs per IST calendar month. To enforce that limit, the account service stores only an HMAC-SHA256 hash of the request's IP plus user-agent and the monthly count; the raw IP and user-agent are never stored, and the counter is deleted after month end.

If you create an account, the account service stores your email, a bcrypt password hash (and, when you request a password reset, a short-lived hashed reset token emailed to you), your retention/consent choice, monthly PDF usage counts and basic account timestamps. Business profile, clients, catalog, invoice metadata and line items, and numbering settings are stored server-side only after you choose a retention period other than Never; choosing Never leaves them local. The choices are 1 month or 1 year from last activity, or while the platform is live until you delete the account or it shuts down. A daily cleanup removes expired 1-month and 1-year account data. Export downloads the stored account data; Delete my data removes it and can delete the login. Signed-in PDF usage is enforced by the service at 4 per IST calendar month. Beyond that limit, pay by NEFT or IMPS to Productive IT's Axis Bank account and email the payment slip to info@productiveit.in; access is activated after verification. Contact us for plan pricing. When a paid plan is activated, we store the plan name, quota, validity dates, payment reference/UTR, amount and admin notes for accounting and support; these are not used for marketing.

The GST account service's access logs contain only a timestamp, route, status and duration. They do not contain invoice or customer contents.

Like any website, our public site may keep standard access logs (such as IP address, browser type, page requested and time) for security and troubleshooting; these logs do not contain information entered into the GST tool.
